Aerobics and cardio exercises are very important because they can have you in great shape and as you get fit, you also improve your entire well being. However, many people these days cannot seem to find the time to leave their houses and head on out to the gym and workout. Well, fret not, for here are some great home cardio exercises that can give you that well-toned physique in no time.
Treadmill – The use of a treadmill will provide you with a fantastic at home cardio workout. There are many variations that you can do with use of a treadmill. You can walk, jog or run on it for example. Listen to your favorite music on your MP3 while you workout, so avoid getting bored.
Stationary Bike – Well, just like that of the treadmill, stationary bikes are a true must-have when you are doing your cardio at home. Do not worry if you do not have that much space in your home since these bikes are not going to eat much of your space. You can place it in your living room so you can watch TV while you pedal away or you can place it in your basement if you do not want to get disturbed while you get your daily dose of cardio. Just remember to keep a bottled water at hand, so you do not get dehydrated.
Step Up – This is one of the many great aerobic workouts at home. A lot of people are actually into this type of workout. In fact, you might have already seen this type of workout on infomercials, ads and the like. Well, you do not actually have to purchase those fancy looking step machines; all you need is your stairs, a box or crate. To do this, step up with one foot, followed by your other foot and then step back down the same manner. You can do this by stepping sideways as well.
